Here at Destination:Communication, we know that neurodivergence (including autism, ADHD and learning disabilities) are not ‘disorders’ that need to be ‘corrected’. We understand that neurodiversity is something to celebrate and embrace, and we pride ourselves on taking a neurodivergence affirming approach to speech and language therapy. We love working with young neurodivergent people with communication needs. Though each individual journey will look different, the destination of functional, spontaneous communication is the same for everyone.
ASSESSMENT
Initial and review assessments
1:1 THERAPY SESSIONS
Therapy can take place at your home, or in your child’s pre-school setting or school.
ONLINE TRAINING & COACHING
We can provide bespoke training sessions, individual coaching and advice sessions for parents and/or education staff, and group training sessions.
SUPERVISION SESSIONS
I offer online supervision sessions for Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals seeking support and advice around neuroaffimative practice, gestalt language processing and starting with power-based AAC.
CONFERENCES & WORKSHOPS
We have experience in delivering training sessions to professionals at conferences, and delivering practical workshops to our colleagues in education.
OTHER SERVICES
Attending meetings and report writing.
